Digging ditches and planting bougainvillea
December is a very busy time of the year with the Christmas activities but this year the older boys helped Boda to dig ditches around the outside perimeter of the property so that the water could be re-directed. Some men from the monthly breakfast group in Stonewall had provided extra money for more gravel but it needed “man power” to complete the task.
Then the middle age boys were helping to dig and plant the bougainvillea hedge that is starting to cover the fence as a thorny protection again intruders.
However, the one thing that it will not protect is again the hippo and her baby that comes up close to the property from the lake. Pray that they will stay away from the property. They have been coming uncommonly close.
