You know that song… “Hi hoe, hi hoe, it’s off to work we go…..”  So today we dipped into the cement again and this time connected the sewer from the house to the latrine.  They have a different way of doing it but we opted for something more North American.

Dave is cementing in the first window and Sieg, our fearless leader, is sitting but he’s right on the ball with what’s happening.

A moment from our “fearless leader”, Sieg:

The word of “fearless leader” did not come from me. I am not sure what the people are thinking about me. The last few days, I was happy to be busy helping Samuel to put cement on the walls. But today was slow. We almost finished the first coat on the inside of the building. However, they could not finished it altogether, because we lacked the steel windows which David Nyakoko is welding for us. Confession is good for the soul. So I have to admit that I got hold of a fascinating book about Dietrich Bonhoeffer which described the situation of Hitler and the church. Some people close to the dictator thought that within ten years the dictator would take the place of Jesus in the church. Signing out for now. Talk to you later.  Sieg
