Saturday night a wonderful group of 35 all “hung out” as we Remembered the Past and Looked towards the Future. We toured through the museum buildings and Dr.Hunter’s house who had been a missionary to the Teulon area many years early. Seeing his library showed the emphasis of his heart. The old school buildings and shoe makers shops were just as impressive.
There was a prize for the “best dressed” 70’s person. It was hard to pick. Here’s some pictures:
It was a tough time trying to decide who took the best dressed 70’s award but finally after the “walk” was completed it went to the man dressed in “his graduation suit” with the bright pink socks! You looked great Dwight!
There was also a dessert auction and someone walked away with the purchase of this marvelously designed cake.
Thanks to all who came, donated time, gifts and donations. After expenses, we received $1500.00 . Maybe we’ll meet next year but a decade earlier?
