(Sorry, we have waited for the pictures from this evening but they have not arrived for posting. Our apologies.)
All night there was a Bible verse that always seemed to come to mind which was 1 Timothy 4:12 which reads: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
That verse was very true last night, it was amazing to see children praising and devoting their lives to God just as much as the adults were. What a beautiful faith we follow, where whether you are 6 or 66 you can still have such emotion and a “high” for our Saviour. There was one girl who I swear will move mountains, (she is pictured twice in this blog post) you could hear her chanting and cry for Jesus many feet away. Never have I ever seen as much passion in any one adult, let alone a ten year old. God moves in mysterious ways, and it is such a blessing to see him work in places like Kisumu.
While I get off my soap box, I am super excited to tell you that another 36 or so became followers of Christ last night!   God is good.
There are only two nights left of the Crusade, so please pray that those numbers continue to grow and seeds are planted in people’s hearts. Also pray for Bethel, that they may receive a lot of support and blessing from the Crusade, that people will remember the name and the amazing work the Chamah’s and all their staff do.
Blessings,
The Three Amigos.
